The work includes the construction of approximately: 120 cubic yards excavation - common, 20 cubic yards excavation - rock, 1 each 2'x3' catch basin, 1 each 4' diameter catch basin manhole with 3' sump, 51 linear feet 18" reinforced concrete pipe, 370 cubic yards granular backfill, 80 tons aggregate base class 5, 60 square yards type SP 9.5 wearing course mixture (street), 80 square yards type SP 12.5 wearing course mixture (driveway), 70 linear feet 4' chain link fence (black vinyl coated), 1070 square feet modular block retaining wall, 100 linear feet guardrail, 1083 linear feet cured in place pipe lining, 1 lump sum sanitary bypass, 1 lump sum Lift Station #2, together with related items of work, all in accordance with plans and specifications. Bids must be submitted online no later than the prescribed date and time. Prospective bidders must be on the plan holders list through Questcdn for bids to be accepted. All prospective contractors must comply with the minimum criteria for a "responsible contractor" as defined in Minn. Stat. 16c.285, Subd. 3. A proposal bond of not less than 5 percent of the total amount bid, drawn in favor of City of Lindstrom, must accompany each bid. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities or informalities, and to award the contract to other than the lowest bidder if, in their discretion, the interest of the owner would be best served thereby.
