Reef Breakwater: o Work includes minor earthwork as required to meet foundation elevations and construction of approximately 920 linear feet of Reef Breakwater. Marsh Fill: o Work includes excavating approximately 9,810 cubic yards of material from the nearby upland borrow areas and placement into the Marsh Fill template. Planting: o Work includes planting approximately 2.0 acres of low marsh species across the crest of the newly created Marsh Fill. Oyster Relocation: o Work includes relocating approximately 0.47 acres of live oysters within the Rock Breakwater footprint Project Location: The project site is located in Lavaca Bay, at East U.S. Highway 87 and South Commerce Street at Bayfront Peninsula Park, in Port Lavaca, Calhoun County, Texas. The anticipated substantial completion deadline for all Work is 230 days from Notice to Proceed. Owner anticipates the Project's total bid price will be approximately $9.0 million to $10.5 million dollars.
