Sealed bids are requested for the supply of Water Treatment Plant Chemicals. Bids must be received at the City Clerk’s Office, 112 South 17th Street, Parsons, KS, by 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, December 9, 2025. Bids must be sealed and marked as “Chemical Bid”. Bids are for the calendar year 2026 and are to be provided per unit as indicated for each chemical or will be rejected. All bid prices must be F.O.B. Water Treatment Plant, 1625 North Lincoln, Parsons, KS. Quantities specified are estimates only, with no guarantees of minimum amounts. The city may vary monthly quantities and request interim shipments as needed. No deposits or fees for cylinders shall be charged, and any additional fees must be stated on the bid form. All chemicals furnished must meet the latest American Water Works Association standards. Awarded contracts are contingent on satisfactory service, with unsatisfactory service subject to contract termination. The City may accept or reject any or all bids and waive informalities. Bidders seeking clarification may contact the Director of Utilities at the provided address or phone number.
