The work includes the furnishing of all labor, material, and equipment necessary or required to complete all work set forth in the specifications and shown on the plans. The estimated item quantities are as follows: Calcium Hypochlorite 6,000 lbs, Sludge Conditioning Polymer Emulsion 12,000 gal, Liquid Aluminum Sulfate 12,000 gal, Sodium Hypochlorite 40,000 gal, Supplemental Carbon Source 15,000 gal, Ferrous Sulfate 18,000 gal, and Iron Sequestrant and Corrosion Inhibitor 60,000 lbs. Bids must be made on the standard Proposal form, enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the project on the outside, addressed to the Evesham Municipal Utilities Authority. Each bid must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Bid Bond, or Cashier’s Check for ten percent of the total amount bid (not to exceed $20,000), and an executed consent from an approved surety company licensed in New Jersey agreeing to furnish the required Performance and Maintenance Bond. The contract is subject to New Jersey Local Public Contracts Law and requires compliance with Affirmative Action Law, Business Registration Act, and Public Works Contractor Registration Act. The right is reserved to reject any or all Proposals or to make awards to the lowest responsible bidder and to waive informalities as permitted by law.
