The scope of work includes clearing trees and removing stumps in the designated area to provide a 15-ft wide corridor to each test well location. All cleared trees and brush must be disposed of at the Middle Village Community Resource Area as specified in the technical specifications. After tree clearing, grading of the native material is required to create a relatively smooth surface for access by drilling equipment. The work also includes construction of a driveway access according to Menominee County requirements, which involves installation of a culvert and ¾” gravel fill in the ditch area. The centerline of the access road alignment is staked in the field. Bidders are encouraged to visit the site before submitting a bid.
