Sealed proposals are requested for work associated with Asbestos Abatement for various renovations and remodels at North Dakota State University. The services will be provided on an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) basis through the end of the 2026 calendar year, with an option to extend for an additional twelve months if mutually agreed upon. Bidders must use the supplied Bid Form included in the Bidding Documents. Failure to use these forms will result in bid rejection. Bidders are required to fully inform themselves of existing conditions and limitations under which the work is to be performed and must include all related costs in their bid, as no allowances will be made for lack of examination or knowledge. Bids must comply with North Dakota Century Code Chapter 48-01.2. Each bid must consist of two separate sealed envelopes: one marked “Bid Proposal” and one marked “Bid Bond,” attached to each other, with appropriate identification and acknowledgment of all addenda. A Bidder’s Security Bond in a sum equal to five percent (5%) of the full bid amount must be included, executed by a surety company authorized in North Dakota, and cover the highest amount of the total bid combination including add alternates. Each bidder must hold a current and valid North Dakota Contractor’s License of the proper class for the full bid amount and provide a copy of the license in the same envelope as the Bidder’s Security Bond. The license must be held at least ten days prior to the bid opening. A Bidder Questionnaire must be completed and included with the Bidder’s Security Bond. Two copies of the Bid Form must be submitted in the Bid Proposal envelope. Bids must be upon a cash payment basis and sealed. No base or alternate bids may be withdrawn for sixty days after bid opening. North Dakota State University reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informalities. The successful bidder, upon contract execution, must provide a Sales Tax Certificate, Workers’ Compensation Certificate, Certificate of Insurance and Policies/Endorsements (including North Dakota Stop Gap Worker’s Compensation, Builders Risk/Installation Floater coverage, Additional Insured Statement, Auto Insurance with Waiver of Subrogation), Company Safety Manual, and North Dakota University System Performance – Payment Bond.
