Minority participation in each 70.4% Trade (female included) 6.9% This project includes roadway installation of temporary detour asphalt concrete paved road and temporary detour steel -truss bridge and abutments , temporary relocation of water main ; demolition of bridge , abutments , columns , wing walls , and asphalt concrete pavement ; and installation of replacement onelane concrete bridge , abutments , columns , wing walls , concrete approach slab , asphalt concrete pavement , guardrails , pavement markings , signs , surface stabilization , permanent water main ; and removal of temporary detour road , bridge , and water main , and restoration of disturbed areas. The County of Maui will not be responsible in any way for errors in transmission or failure to receive the bid by the deadline due to the bidder's error . To be eligible for award , bidders must possess a valid State of Hawaii General Engineering Contractor's "A" license , prior to the award of the contract . Bidders shall be licensed in accordance with Chapter 444 , HRS , relating to the licensing of contractors. The U.S. Department of Transportation Regulation entitled "Non discrimination in Federally -Assisted Programs of the U.S. Department of Transportation ," Title 49 , Code of Federal Regulations ( CFR ), Part 21 is applicable to this project .
