Site work for a water / sewer project in Winter Haven, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
Furnish all labor, materials, supervision, and equipment necessary for the construction and development of one (1) upper Floridan aquifer (UFA) supplemental supply well capable of a flow rate of 1,520 gallons per minute (gpm) without causing excessive drawdown at the future site of the Polk County Utilities (PCU) NERUSA AWS Receiving Facility in accordance with plan sheets and project manual outlined in the bid documents. Qualification requirements include a current State of Florida Well Drillers license and having performed at least 3 projects of similar size and scope services as the prime contractor within the past five years. Liquidated Damages will be assessed at $1,500.00 per day. The contract time for this project is a total of 210 calendar days from Notice to Proceed to reach Substantial Completion and an additional 30 days from Substantial Completion to Final Completion. Women/Minority Business Enterprise firms are to be afforded a full opportunity to participate and bidders are asked to make good faith efforts to use qualified W/MBE subcontractors in preparing their bid.
