The Board of Education of the Karns City Area School District will receive sealed proposals for Contract 25018.000-01 - Abatement & Razing of the former Sugarcreek Elementary School for Karns City Area School District, under a single prime contract. Prime Bidders may obtain one set of Bidding Documents by mailing or presenting to Printscape Imaging and Graphics a refundable deposit check in the amount of $100.00, payable to "Karns City Area School District," along with a company letterhead request that includes the firm name, contact person’s name, email address, UPS shipping address (no PO Box numbers), phone, and fax numbers. Additional sets or partial sets of Bidding Documents can be purchased directly from Printscape. The deposit will be returned, provided Bidding Documents are returned to Printscape within ten calendar days of the bidding date, in good usable condition, and a bona fide bid is received by the Karns City Area School District; otherwise, the deposit will be forfeited. Shipping charges are not refundable. The bid must be accompanied by a proposal guaranty of not less than 10% of the total of the Base Bid, a Non-Collusion Affidavit, Qualification Questionnaire, and a Pennsylvania Certificate of Authority (if applicable). The project is subject to applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Bidding Documents may be reviewed online at the Printscape Plan Room and are available for viewing by appointment at several builders exchange locations. Prime Bidders must register to receive notifications of Addenda, project information updates, and access privileges to the DFS Project Website. A pre-bid meeting will be held at the project site.
