Sealed proposals are being requested for the South Arkansas Expo Center Phase 1 project. Bids should be delivered by the specified time to the Office of the Architect, Michael Rogers Designs LLC, in a clearly identified sealed, opaque envelope to Michael Rogers Designs LLC, 210 E. Elm, 3rd Floor, El Dorado, Arkansas 71730, or by email. Bids will be opened at the designated time via online video/teleconference meeting, with login information available from the Office of the Architect. Bidders may attend the opening in person if desired. Plans and Specifications must be obtained through the Office of the Architect. A five percent (5%) corporate Bid Bond or certified check amounting to five percent (5%) of the bid must accompany all submitted bids on construction contracts exceeding $50,000.00. Bidders must comply with all requirements of Contractors Licensing Laws of the State of Arkansas and relevant codes. Small, minority, and women business enterprises are encouraged to submit bids. General contractors are encouraged to consider these groups for subcontracting. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive formalities. Proposals that do not comply with any provision of the Plans, Specifications, and other Contract Documents will be considered invalid and will not receive consideration.
