The work comprises the construction of the City of Diboll - CWSRF Wastewater Improvements (TWDB CWSRF No. 73888). In general terms, the following items are included: removal and replacement of one mechanical wastewater screen; removal and replacement of one vortex grit collection and classifying equipment; removal and replacement of two clarifiers; removal and replacement of two slide gates; installation of aeration equipment in Aerobic Digester No. 2; cleaning and dredging of the existing oxidation ditch; and removal and replacement of electrical and controls for the centrifuge. Calendar days for project completion are 480 for substantial completion and 540 for final completion. Liquidated damages are set at $1,500.00. Work also includes dredging and removal of grit and sludge that has settled in the aeration basin, demolition of equipment to be replaced, and all electrical upgrades associated with the project.
