This project includes the removal and replacement of existing signage, along with the installation of a new signage system throughout Niagara Falls State Park-- specifically at Prospect Point, Goat Island, Gorgeview South, Whirlpool and Devil’s Hole. The new signage system includes vehicular and pedestrian gateway, directional, kiosk, identification, trail and regulatory signs as well as targeted hardscape and landscape improvements to complement the new signage. Cost Estimate Range: $3,756,522 to $5,082,353 General Construction Contract Alternate #1- Riverway Critical Alternate #1 includes the removal and replacement of existing signage, along with the installation of new critical signs at Riverway. Cost Estimate Range: $320,519 to $433,644 Alternate #2- Gorgeview North Alternate #2 includes the removal and replacement of existing signage, along with the installation of new signs at Gorgeview North. Cost Estimate Range: $542,254 to $733,637 Alternate #3- Riverway Remainder Alternate #3 includes the removal and replacement of existing signage, along with the installation of new signs for the remainder of Riverway. Cost Estimate Range: $320,519 to $433,644 The completion date for this project is 545 days after agreement has been approved by the NYS Comptroller’s Office.
