As of January 23, 2026, the project was awarded to Crossroads Asphalt Inc, with an awarded amount of $398,027.03 NOTE: ADDENDUM(S) MUST BE INCLUDED WITH YOUR BID AND SIGNED AS AN ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AS TO THE CONTENTS. The work will consist of all labor and equipment required for the Taylor Parkway Rehabilitation Project and other necessary appurtenances in accordance with the specifications and contractual requirements on file in the Office of the City Engineer. Bidders must use the bid forms available from the Office of the Engineer or electronically upon request, with proof of payment for a non-refundable cost of fifty dollars. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid guarantee which shall consist of an Ohio Statutory Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in a penal amount equal to or greater than 100% of the bid price, as prescribed by ORC 153.57. Bonds must be issued by a surety company licensed in Ohio. Each bidder must submit evidence of their experience on projects of similar size and complexity, and proposals must include labels identifying the bid form and insurance bid bond information. Sealed bids must be clearly marked with the project name. All contractors and subcontractors are required, to the extent practicable, to use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor. Compliance with Ohio Equal Employment Opportunity requirements and prevailing wage rates as determined by the Department of Commerce is mandatory. Scope of work includes a complete resurfacing of Taylor Parkway. Work will include planing of the existing asphalt concrete surface followed by the application of a new intermediate course and surface course. Additional work will include catch basin adjustments and reconstructions; concrete blockouts; limited sidewalk replacement; and limited curb replacement to meet the City of North Ridgeville Standard Construction Drawings. Work may also include incidental grading and structure adjustments. The contractor is responsible for calling OUPS and requesting utility locates.
