Site work and renovation of a municipal facility in North Ridgeville, Ohio. Conceptual plans call civil work for an office development.
The City of North Ridgeville, Ohio is soliciting proposals from qualified professional engineering firms to provide engineering design and coordination services for the replacement of an existing salt storage barn at the City’s Public Works facility. The project includes demolition of the existing salt barn, site preparation, and construction of a new salt storage facility. The selected engineering consultant will act as the City’s design professional and technical coordinator throughout the design, bidding, and construction process. The consultant must remain independent of any specific manufacturer and prepare plans and specifications that are compatible with public bidding and coordination with a selected supplier. The consultant is required to evaluate existing site conditions, utilities, access, and operational needs to develop the project design. The selected engineering firm shall provide all professional services necessary to design a complete, biddable salt barn project, including but not limited to, the tasks outlined in the scope of services.
