Renovation of an educational facility in Hastings, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade educational facility.
Sealed bid proposals for construction trade work are invited from qualified contractors for BP 8 - HS Phase 3 Renovations under the HASS 2023 Bond Program. Work will involve separate prime contractors, with all contracts for construction made directly with the Owner. The Construction Management Firm is responsible for the overall administration of the Project. Proposals must be submitted separately for each Bid Division or combination of Bid Divisions, utilizing the provided bid forms. All Bidders must thoroughly review the Bidding Documents and ensure compliance with all requirements. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of five percent of the Base Bids, which can be in the form of a Bid Bond, Cashier's Check, or Money Order. No bids may be withdrawn for sixty days after the bid date. Successful Bidders may be required to furnish Surety Bonds. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, accept bids other than the low bid, and to waive informalities or errors in bids as deemed in their best interest. All bidders must submit a sworn and notarized familial disclosure statement as required by statute, disclosing any familial relationship between the bidder and specified school or academy officials.
