Project consists of removing damaged road surface asphalt and replacing it with new asphalt pavement; includes cul-de-sac and stem road with some curb and sidewalk accessibility improvements. ACHD shall be entitled to Liquidated Damages of $1,000.00 for each calendar day of delay in the completion of the work. A delay on one portion of the project does not justify delays on other portions of the project. This Public Works project is not financed in whole or in part by Federal Aid funds. Bid proposals will be accepted only from those contractors including prime contractors, subcontractors and/or specialty contractors, who, prior to bid, hold current licenses as public works contractors in the State of Idaho. A Type 1, 2, or 4 License is required for ACHD contract work. A Type 4 License shall include the appropriate "specialty" categories related to roadway construction.
