Renovation of a detention facility in Shreveport, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
An acceptable bid bond, cashiers check, or certified check payable to the City of Shreveport, in an amount not less than five (5%) percent of the bid, including additive alternates, must accompany the bid. Negotiable bid bonds will be returned to the unsuccessful bidder as soon as possible, or not more than 45 days after the opening of bids. All bonds applicable to this transaction must be accompanied by an original power of attorney. An acceptable performance bond equal to 100% of the amount of the contract and a 50% payment bond and 10% two-year maintenance bond will be required of the successful bidder. The lowest responsible and responsive bidder will be requested to adhere to the Citys Fair Share requirements. The City of Shreveport reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids for just cause.
