Demolition and site work for a residential development in Lincolnshire, Illinois. Completed plans call for the demolition of a 5,000-square-foot, one-story above grade residential development.
The proposed project consists of demolishing a single family home located at 61 Lincolnshire Drive. The scope of work includes the demolition of a 5,000 square foot ranch home constructed on a concrete slab, demolition and backfilling of an inground pool with deck, tree removal, shed removal, brick retaining wall removal, wood fence removal, and all restoration required to bring the site back to the original grade and all other ancillary work required to demolish the home. Bidders are directed to a pre-bid meeting for inspection of the home and site, requested to park only on the west side of Lincolnshire Drive. All contracts are subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act and the Employment of Illinois Workers on Public Works Act. The owner reserves the right to defer acceptance of proposals for up to 90 days after receipt and to accept or reject all proposals and to waive technicalities to accept the proposal that best meets municipal needs and requirements as outlined. This work shall consist of the removal and legal disposal of 1 building, together with all foundations, footings, retaining walls, patios, attached stoop, wood decks, trees, stumps, shrubs and also all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the removal of the building and restore the site in a manner approved by the Resident Engineer. Any holes, such as basements, shall be filled with a suitable granular material.
