Renovation of a mixed-use development in Sacramento, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade medical facility; one-story above grade office development; one-story above grade medical facility; and one-story above grade educational facility.

**As of Janaury 28th this project was awarded to Streamline Construction.** The University is seeking to hire a Contractor for renovation work that will be delivered by Job Order Contracting (JOC). The contractor will provide materials and services in support of renovation or remodel projects for the following areas: inside operational OSHPD (HCAI) 1 regulated hospitals, inside operational OSHPD 3 ambulatory clinics, inside operational educational, administrative, and non-clinical spaces, and site improvements. Work under the JOC may include individual General Building contract project scopes between $50,000 and $300,000. Projects requiring specialized certifications, work inside the Central Plant, and work on specialty plumbing systems such as Reverse Osmosis, Deionized Water, Medical Vacuum, Medical Gas, and Medical Air are excluded. Coordination with established University vendors for Fire Alarm, Water Quality, Industrial Hygiene, Lighting Controls, and Building Management Controls is required. Specific line items include minor demolition, furniture, fixtures and equipment installation, HVAC modification, plumbing modification, ceiling system modification, installation or modification to existing lighting and lighting controls, installation or modification of electrical and data, modification or construction of interior walls, drywall patching and paint, flooring installation, door and hardware replacement, and concrete and site work. Pre-qualification requirements: Only the following prequalified contractors may submit bids: Colin Construction Company, Peacock Construction, Roebbelen Contracting, Streamline Construction, Swinerton Builders. The successful Bidder must possess a current and active California B-General Building contractor's license at the time of bid submission. Contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 and 1771.1. Bidders may be required to show evidence of an equal employment opportunity policy. The successful Bidder and its subcontractors must follow nondiscrimination requirements, pay prevailing wages, and comply with the UC Fair Wage (no less than $15 per hour) and all applicable working condition requirements. Requests for clarification or interpretation of the Bidding Documents must be in writing and received by 2 p.m. December 9, 2025.
