Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Plainfield, Vermont. Conceptual plans call for the demolition of a one-story above grade bridge / tunnel.
The Town of Plainfield is requesting Statements of Qualifications from engineering firms for engineering services for the Brook Road Bridge #23 Replacement Project. The Town is seeking a Consultant or Consultant Team with expertise in designing, engineering, and permitting. The selection will be through a Qualifications Based Selection process. A detailed scope of work or cost proposal is not required at this time. Selection will be based on the demonstrated ability to provide the highest qualified team through the SOQ and possibly an interview with the Selection Committee. The project entails the development of a replacement structure for Bridge #23, located on Brook Road in Plainfield, which was closed due to structural compromise from flooding. Project development must follow the Vermont Agency of Transportation Municipal Assistance Section process.
