Project: Design-build installation of a pitched standing seam metal roof at 1007 Kenning Drive, Seymour, Texas, dimensions 200 feet by 120 feet. The contractor shall provide architectural and engineering services for a pitched roof with a 1:12 slope, remove the existing flat roof system and dispose of debris, design and construct necessary structural supports, install a PBR-Panel metal roof system per International Building Code and manufacturer requirements, submit engineering drawings and calculations, and provide spray foam insulation. The roof system must use factory-finished Galvalume or equivalent panels, minimum 26-gauge, with concealed fasteners and all compatible flashing and trim meeting IBC and ASTM standards and manufacturer warranty requirements. Roof must be watertight, properly aligned, designed for drainage and withstand local wind, rain, and snow loads. Contractor is to maintain a clean site. Minimum 25-year manufacturer warranty on roofing panels and 5-year workmanship warranty required. Contractor must provide proof of insurance and bonding, obtain permits, coordinate with City staff, and submit a detailed timeline. Proposals must include an itemized cost estimate, project schedule, and references from at least three similar projects. Bids must be sealed and clearly marked with the project name, submitted by the specified deadline and location, and will be publicly opened and read aloud upon deadline. Late submissions will not be considered. Bids will be evaluated based on compliance with specifications, cost, contractor experience and references, warranties, and project timeline.
