Renovation of a fire / police facility in Lihue, Hawaii. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
The County seeks information on commercially available Fire Station Alerting (FSA) solutions capable of rapid, reliable, and redundant delivery of dispatch notifications to County fire stations, with fine-grained zoning (dorms/bays/administration) and integration to existing systems. The County intends to use responses to shape an integrated Request for Proposal (RFP) or to consider other contracting mechanisms. Pursuant to HRS 103 D and HAR 3-122-9.02, the County of Kaua'i Fire Department invites interested parties to submit information regarding Fire Station Alerting Systems. This RFI requests brief details showing how proposed systems meet the requirements below. This RFI is not a competitive procurement; the County will use responses to assess feasibility and benefits and to inform a future solicitation.
