Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Lihue, Hawaii. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and road / highway.
The project shall in general consist of but is not limited to pavement restoration of the roadway at the entrance of Kauai Community College as called for on the Plans and Technical Specifications. The entry roadway to the campus from Kaumualii Highway below the parking area in the front of the One Stop Center Building and the existing roadway below will receive concrete pavement. The roadway above this parking area will be restored to AC pavement. Question Deadline 01/23/2026 All clarification requests shall be submitted via online. Requests for substitutions regarding the IFB and its requirements, must be submitted to the Technical Representative of the Procurement Officer (TRPO), Ray Teramae via E-mail at teramae@hawaii.edu Contractor's License Requirement To be eligible to bid, bidders must possess a valid State of Hawaii Contractor's license A. BIDS FROM CONTRACTORS NOT LICENSED IN THE STATE OF HAWAII WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. In addition, bidders must either possess or list Subcontractors who possess specialty contractor licenses for the specialty work required for this project. The bidder shall be solely responsible for insuring that all specialty licenses required to complete the project are covered in its bid. Failure to list all required subcontractors may be grounds for disqualification.
