Orange County, Florida, henceforth referred to as the County is accepting sealed bids for Jones Avenue Pond Maintenance Question Deadline 12/22/2025 at 5:00 PM ET The question and answer module of online IS being utilized for this solicitation. Timely questions concerning this solicitation shall be submitted in accordance with the deadline for questions. Respondents are instructed not to contact the initiating division directly. Untimely questions are unable to be submitted in the question and answer module, thereafter respondents raising critical concerns must email corie.cummings@ocfl.net. Critical clarifications may be made via addenda, however, untimely questions may not be considered. A Bid, Payment and Performance Bond are a requirement when the offer/contract amount exceeds $100,000. Respondents shall attach an electronic copy of their bid bond for responsiveness. Submission of the bid bond, along with a certified and effectively dated copy of the power of attorney, shall be completed and signed by all required parties and submitted on the form provided in the solicitation. Submittal of a bid bond less than 10% of the total estimated contract amount for base period, shall result in the bid being deemed non-responsive. In the alternative, a Certified Check, or a Cashier's Check shall be required to accompany each electronic offer in a stated dollar amount of not less than ten (10%) percent of the sum of the total estimated contract amount for the base period. Orange County reserves the right, and the Manager of the Procurement Division, has the absolute and sole discretion to cancel a solicitation at any time prior to approval of the award by the Board of County Commissioners when such approval is required. The decision to cancel a solicitation cannot be the basis for a protest pursuant to the Orange County Code. The intent of the project is to remove the emergent vegetation that has grown in the pond bottom and side slopes since the original construction of the pond.
