Bids are being accepted for the Municipal Park Tennis Court Sidewalk Replacement project. Bids must be mailed in a sealed envelope marked with the project name and addressed to the City of Germantown Procurement Director. All goods must be delivered F.O.B. Germantown, Tennessee. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, including partial bids or those with variations from specifications, and may waive informalities or minor irregularities. Bids must be submitted on the provided City documents and signed. The successful bidder must not discriminate against any individual based on race, creed, color, national origin, age, or sex. Required documents include the bid sheet, bid bond, drug and alcohol testing acknowledgment statement and affidavit, and the company's testing policy. Disclosure of Title VI and Title IX information is voluntary. Standard Germantown construction contract, payment bond, performance bond, and insurance certifications will be required from the selected bidder. The Project is briefly described as follows: This project proposes the complete replacement of the current asphalt pathway (approximately 360 linear feet) with a new, ADA-compliant concrete sidewalk along the south side of the Municipal Tennis Courts. The scope of this project includes the demolition and removal of the existing asphalt, the preparation of a new sub-base, and the installation of a smooth, slip-resistant concrete sidewalk that meets all Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidelines. This will involve ensuring appropriate width, grading, and the inclusion of curb cuts at all necessary access points.
