Description of Work: Project is to abandon approximately 11,600 linear feet (LF) of existing 6- to 12-inch water line in commercial and residential areas, and to replace with 8- and 12-inch water line. Scope includes open cut and trenchless installation and incorporating associated components such as gate valves, water meters, and fire hydrants. All other information relating to this project is contained within the attached Contract Documents. Time for project completion is 365 calendar days. Bids received more than ninety-six (96) hours, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, before the time set for opening of bids, as well as received after the time set for opening of bids, will not be considered and will be returned unopened.
