**As of January 20th, 2026, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The project consists generally of selective demolition and construction to renovate the Lake Johnson Pool clubhouse. Work includes general construction, fire alarm, plumbing, electrical, and limited site and mechanical construction. Bidders must be licensed to perform the work as required by North Carolina General Statute, Chapter 87, and as further detailed in the Instructions to Bidders. Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid must accompany each Bid and is subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. The City of Raleigh encourages participation of certified Minority and Woman-Owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) businesses in all aspects of the City's contracting and procurement programs. The prime contractor is required to identify participation of MWBE businesses in their Bid and how that participation will be achieved. The City's goal is to contract or sub-contract fifteen percent (15%) of the contract amount to certified MWBEs on construction projects over $300,000, or with contracts that include $100,000 or more in state funding.
