All equipment covered by these specifications shall be applied, designed, manufactured and tested in accordance with the applicable sections of the latest Standards of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), the National Electrical Manufacturer's Association (NEMA), the National Electric Safety Code (NESC), ASTM formerly the American Society for Testing and Materials, the American Welding Society (AWS), and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and in accordance with generally accepted good engineering, manufacturing and operating practices as generally observed in the electric utility industry. 3. The General Conditions, any and all addenda and all other articles and divisions of the specification, together with all drawings, are a part of this specification and shall apply to the SUPPLIER whether they are mentioned in this article or not. 4. Failure to specifically mention certain details and/or accessories necessary for the successful operation of the equipment shall not relieve the SUPPLIER of the responsibility of furnishing such details or accessories.
