Sealed bids are requested for the supply of limestone, asphalt coated galvanized pipe, cold mix, CRS-2 (tack), CSS-1, gasoline, diesel (on road and off road), tank car culverts, gravel, finely graded sand, type L1 Portland cement, herbicides, and tires, as per specifications available in the Police Jury Office. Certification that the bidder is an equal opportunity employer is required. Preference is given to materials, supplies, and provisions produced or offered by Louisiana citizens, provided quality is equal to competitors outside the state. All bids must be submitted in a separate envelope properly marked to indicate the nature of the bid. The authority reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and to waive all technicalities.
