Site work for a power facility in Huntsville, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a power facility.
Contractor shall have the capabilities and certifications to perform commercial/industrial civil grading and site work. Contractors submitting for bidding shall only submit for their primary trade of work. Contractor shall have the experience and past experience on similar contracts through the City of Huntsville's permitting process. Contractor must have existing business license with the City of Huntsville. Contractor shall have the experience and past experience on similar contracts regarding the ADEM Construction Stormwater General NPEDS permitting process. Contractor shall have capabilities with respect to personnel, equipment, and construction facilities and financial status and ability to provide needed capital funding. All potential bidders shall contact the Engineer to request procedures and criteria clarification. Email request to jhamby@athens utilities.com. The Engineer will not accept telephone inquiries. Bid guarantee in the form of Certified Check, Bid Bond, or Irrevocable Letter of Credit acceptable to the City of Athens Utilities for at least 5% of the bid, not to exceed $10,000.00 are required with bid submission.
