The project consists of the reconstruction of the Co-Ed Dorms parking lot and the construction of a new street between Fort Berthold Avenue and Burleigh Avenue. Activities include site clearing, demolition, grading, paving, storm sewer utilities, lighting, and appurtenant construction as indicated and specified in the contract documents. Each bid must be submitted in duplicate and enclosed in a sealed opaque envelope with the required information. Each bid must also include a sealed opaque envelope containing a Bidders bond payable to United Tribes Technical College, executed by the Bidder as principal and by a surety company authorized to do business in North Dakota, in a sum equal to five percent (5%) of the Bidders highest total bid combination, including all add alternates to the bid items. Bidders must provide a copy of their North Dakota Contractor's License or certificate of renewal, licensed for the highest amount of the total bid combination including add alternates, effective at least ten days prior to the date of bid opening. Bidders are required to comply with specific federal regulations listed in the instructions. The Owner reserves the right to hold all legitimate bids for thirty days, reject any or all bids or portions thereof, and waive irregularities. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance-Payment Bond. Specific services listed in this section are in addition to, and do not supersede, general Execution and Closeout Requirements. B. Sole responsibility for establishing all locations, dimensions and levels of items of work. C. Sole responsibility for provision of all materials required to establish and maintain benchmarks and control points, including batter boards, grade stakes, structure elevation stakes, and other items. D. Provision of facilities and assistance necessary for Owner's Representative to check lines and grade points placed by Contractor.
