Renovation of a mixed-use development in Menomonie, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade library; one-story above grade office development; and one-story above grade educational facility.
The work consists of replacing hydraulic passenger elevators in the Administration Building, Bowman Hall, Communications Technology, and Swanson Library. Miscellaneous work includes installation of elevator pit and hoist-way lighting and GFI outlets as required for code compliance. Project work may also include equipment room and building infrastructure renovations to provide adequate ventilation and cooling capabilities to ensure the elevator equipment can operate within the manufacturer's allowable temperature range. Upon completion of the work, elevators must be inspected and tested per Division of Safety and Professional Services (DSPS) requirements. Contractors are encouraged to attend a non-mandatory pre-bid tour and are advised that parking permits are required.
