In general, the work consists of: replacing hydraulic passenger elevators in Administration Building, Bowman Hall, Communications Technology, and Swanson Library. Miscellaneous work includes installation of elevator pit and hoist-way lighting and GFI outlets as required for code compliance. Project work may also include equipment room and building infrastructure renovations to provide adequate ventilation and cooling capabilities to assure the elevator equipment can operate within the manufacture's allowable temperature range. Upon completion of work, elevators are to be inspected and tested per Division of Safety and Professional Services (DSPS) requirements.
