Sealed bids are invited for an annual supply contract for asphalts, road materials, fuel, and oil. Bidders are to use lump sum pricing or unit pricing as appropriate. No bidder's bond is required. Payments will be made by the County Auditor from currently budgeted funds as per the State of Texas Prompt Payment Act. Bids may be submitted either online through the Refugio County website or in a sealed envelope, clearly marked with the required bid information. Refugio County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, or portions of a bid, and to waive informalities or defects. Small and minority businesses, women's business enterprises, and labor surplus area firms are encouraged to submit bids and to use such firms as subcontractors in accordance with 2 CFR.
