Renovation of a multi-residential development in Fargo, North Dakota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 168,950-square-foot, one-story above grade multi-residential development.

Project is defined as the enclosure and removal of approximately 168,950 SF Floor Tile & Mastic, 168,950 SF Ceiling Texture, 2,300 Mudded Pipe Fittings, 1,850 Linear Feet Thermal Systems Insulation, 425 Light Fixtures, and 13,000 LF Transite Duct. Bid shall be in accordance with and submitted on the supplied bid form from bidding documents prepared by Trio Environmental Consulting, Inc. Failure to use supplied bid forms will result in rejection of the Bid. One copy of the bidding documents may be obtained by prime bidders at Trio Environmental Consulting, Inc., or may be examined at specified locations until bid opening. A pre-bid inspection is mandatory. Each bidder shall fully inform themselves prior to bidding as to existing conditions and limitations under which the Work is to be performed and include in the bid a sum to cover the cost of items necessary to perform the Work as set forth in the Contract Documents. No allowance will be made to any Contractor because of the lack of such examination or knowledge. The submission of a bid will be considered as conclusive evidence that the Contractor(s) has made such examination. Bids shall comply with North Dakota Century Code Chapter 48-01.2 as amended. Each Bid submitted shall consist of two separate sealed envelopes, one clearly marked "Bid Proposal" and the other "Bid Bond" on the outside. The two envelopes for each project shall be attached to each other and marked as instructed. The envelope marked Bid Bond must include a Bidder's Security Bond equal to five percent of the full amount of the Bid. Each Bidder must hold a current and valid North Dakota Contractor's License of the proper class for the full amount of the bid and enclose a copy in the same envelope as the Bidder's Security Bond. Each Bidder shall complete the Bidder Questionnaire and enclose it in the same envelope as the Bidder's Security Bond; if not, it must be provided before a contract will be awarded. In the envelope marked Bid Proposal, each prime contractor shall submit 2 copies of the Bid form supplied with the Bidding Documents or addenda. Bids must be upon the basis of cash payment for the work and materials and must be sealed. All construction items covered in the contract must be completed by the defined schedule. No base or alternate bids may be withdrawn for a period of sixty days after the bid opening. The successful bidder is required at the time of contract execution to provide all listed certificates, insurance policies, and performance bonds. North Dakota State University reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities therein.
