Sealed bid proposals are requested for sewage sludge removal, hauling, and disposal. Bids must be submitted electronically and be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check amounting to 10% of the total bid proposal, made payable to the Township. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held to review the project scope of work and bidding requirements and to allow bidders to view the facilities to be pumped. All terms and conditions in the contract documents must be strictly adhered to and are not negotiable after the bid is awarded. Bids, experience statements, bonds, and insurance certificates must use the forms provided in the contract documents. The contract may be awarded to the most responsible and responsive bidder. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof and to accept the bid deemed most favorable. Bids may be held for up to sixty days for review and investigation of bidder qualifications prior to contract award. Required submission components include contact information of the submitter, bid bond, supporting documents, bidder acknowledgements, and the pricing section, all using the specified forms or templates.
