Renovation of a swimming pool in Strongsville, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade swimming pool.
Sealed bids are requested for the replacement of the Pirate Ship & Water Slide in the aquatic center of the Ehrnfelt Recreation Center. Bidders must submit their bids using the printed proposal forms available from the Office of the Director of Recreation of the City of Strongsville, Ohio. Each bid must include the full name or names of interested parties, and corporations not chartered in Ohio must provide a certificate authorizing them to do business in the state. Bids must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check, or a bid bond, payable to the City of Strongsville, Ohio, in an amount not less than 10 percent of the total bid as a guarantee of contract entry upon acceptance. The prices for material and labor should be separately stated. Bidders must comply with Department of Labor affirmative action requirements and ensure non-discrimination in employment. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and minor defects, and to accept the most favorable bid. Printed proposal forms are required for submission, and specifications, instructions, and contract documents are available for a non-refundable fee or via email.
