Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Hamilton, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for outdoor lighting for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

An overview of the Work for this Contract is for the Hamilton Amateur Athletic Association (HAAA) grounds renewal plan and includes but is not limited to: a) Apply for and obtain building, water meter, road cut and electrical permits. b) Supply and install construction Site security and safety measures, tree protection hoarding and sediment control measures. c) Demolish existing concrete spray pad (including decommissioning), lighting infrastructure (including park lights, sports lights, wiring, event receptacle, electrical supply enclosure and panels), drainage infrastructure (including catch basins, sewer connections, subsurface drainage), chain link fence, steel railings, asphalt walkways and basketball court, concrete retaining wall, concrete curbs, playground equipment, selected trees and areas of grass. d) Salvage and stockpile existing granular base course, clay-cinder running track material and wood fibre playground surfacing. e) Abandon and pressure-fill sewer lines. f) Salvage picnic tables, benches, garbage cans, football goal, plaque and commemorative sign. g) Strip, screen and stockpile topsoil. h) Excavation, rough grading and compaction. i) Import fill and dispose off-Site excess topsoil. j) Supply and install drainage structures, subsurface drainage and sewer connections. k) Supply and install water service and irrigation system. l) Supply and install electrical enclosure and panels, lighting (including timers, photocells, motion sensors and solar panels where applicable), USB charging station, event receptacle, electrical connections, wiring and conduit. m) Supply and install concrete curbs, concrete seat walls, concrete retaining walls, concrete stairs with steel handrails, armourstone retaining walls and granite boulders. n) Supply and install concrete paving, rubber protective safety surfacing, asphalt paving, coloured coating on asphalt and line painting. o) Supply and install spray pad fixtures, water distribution system, anti-shock device and water control cabinet. p) Supply and install playground equipment, bouldering features, fitness equipment, skate dot features, soccer goals and basketball hoops. q) Supply and install sun shelter structures. r) Supply and install drinking fountain. s) Supply and install bike racks, benches, seats, tables and garbage cans. t) Supply and install chain link fence, decorative steel fence and p-gates. u) Supply, install and maintain trees and sod. v) Supply and install garden beds with shrub and perennial planting.
