Schlegel Villages intends to build a new Long Term Care Home in Hamilton, Ontario. Schlegel Villages Hamilton Long Term Care Home project consists of two new 8 storey towers accommodating 256-beds with a common area on the ground floor and support areas in the basement with a total area of approximately 364,083ft2. The building will consist of precast concrete planks on concrete bearing walls with masonry veneer. Actual Bids for the various subcontractors are expected to be issued between Q1 of 2026 and Q3 of 2026. The anticipated project construction schedule is 30 months. Contractors listed below are invited to respond in writing: All Trades The following documentation must be submitted: (1) Fully completed CCDC 11-2019 (2) WSIB CAD-7 (past injury frequency performance) (3) Health & Safety Policy & Program Submission shall include letter authorizing Owner, Construction Manager and Consultants to verify contents of submissions, including contacting references from projects listed in the CCDC-11.
