**Per Addendum 2 the bid date has been extended from 01/15/26 to 02/03/26** The proposed project includes complete demolition and replacement of the existing Aeration Basin #1 at the Town of Chadbourn Wastewater Treatment Plant (located at 5275 Chadbourn Hwy, Chadbourn., NC 28431). The existing basin is part of the original 1970 plant that was built with sloped concrete side walls and soil bottom. The new basin to be constructed is a similar size (same treatment capacity) rectangular shaped concrete structure with vertical walls and solid concrete bottom. The project also includes installation of a new fine bubble aeration system mounted to the concrete floor, connections to existing site piping, and other miscellaneous restoration activities. There will not be a pre-bid meeting for this project. EPA MBE/WBE participation goals: MBE 10.9% WBE 10.4% State of NC MBE/WBE participation goal: 10% (combined) Table B is not required for SRP and SEL projects if you achieve 10% utilization. Question Deadline 12/23/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
