Sealed bids will be received for furnishing an Electric Power Transformer for the Erie Road Substation. The equipment required to be designed, manufactured, delivered, installed, and tested includes a base bid for two (2) electric power transformers, 18/33.6 MVA at 55/65"C, ONAN/ONAFAF, 115 kV Delta to 13.8 GRDY/7.97 kV with LTC and accessories, and a required alternate bid for two (2) electric power transformers, 20/37.33 MVA at 55/65"C, ONAN/ONAFAF, 115 kV Delta to 13.8 GRDY/7.97 kV with LTC and accessories. All equipment shall be in accordance with the specifications and form of contract on file. Each bid must be submitted on bid forms provided by the Engineer and be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in an amount not less than ten percent of the bid, made payable to Marshall Municipal Utilities. The bid security must be unconditional. The successful bidder must enter into a contract and provide a satisfactory Performance or Supply Bond. Payment will be made as described in the Material Agreement, and materials must be delivered by the specified dates. Marshall Municipal Utilities reserves the right to defer acceptance of any bid for up to thirty days, during which no bid may be withdrawn, and reserves the right to reject any or all bids and enter into any contract deemed in its best interest.
