Renovation of an educational facility in Marshall, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Primarily mechanical work to replace two boilers in a residential hall. Minor roof repair and wall repair needed, and minor electrical. Pre-qualification requirements: Yes. Johnson Controls services the building control system, utilize them to tie in the new boilers and pumps into the current control system. Verify with the disconnection of the existing boilers and pumps. Verify that the boiler pumps start on call for heat from the boilers. 2. The last date to receive bidder questions is March 3, 2026 at 3:00pm. Project Scope: The base bid for this project consists of replacement of the two existing boilers, the hot water circulating pumps, and the expansion tank in the first level mechanical room. In addition to this work, the new boilers will be vented through the side wall utilizing an existing window. The window will be replaced with a insulated mental panel. The combustion air will utilize the existing penetrations through the wall. The existing flue through roof will be abandon, and the roof repaired. The electrical work includes disconnection of equipment and the reconnection of the equipment. Also, the existing variable speed drives shall be replaced. This includes the two for the 5 Hp hot water pumps and the two for the 7Hp chilled water pumps. The replacement of the variable speed drives includes new electrical wiring for this equipment.
