Sealed bids are requested for furnishing 115 kV circuit breakers at the Erie Road Substation. The required equipment consists of five (5) 115 kV circuit breakers, each rated at 2000 A. The equipment must be designed, manufactured, delivered, installed, and tested in accordance with the provided specifications and form of contract. Bids must be submitted on forms provided by the Engineer and accompanied by a certified check or bid bond of at least ten percent (10%) of the bid amount, payable to Marshall Municipal Utilities. Bid security will be forfeited if the selected bidder does not enter into a contract or post required bonds. Materials must be delivered by the dates specified. Marshall Municipal Utilities reserves the right to accept or reject any bids as deemed in their best interest and may defer acceptance for up to thirty days. Instructions on obtaining bid forms and specifications, and payment details, are also provided.
