Renovation of a fire / police facility in Groton, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade fire / police facility.
Selective demolition and replacement of interior walls and doors to facilitate removal and replacement of Trane rotary-screw water chiller. Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope and designated as bid for 'Police Department Chiller Replacement'. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the scheduled time for opening of bids. Any bid received after the specified time and date will be returned unopened. Contract documents, including Plans and Specifications, are available on the Town of Groton Website. Each bidder must deposit security in the form of bid bond or certified check subject to the conditions provided. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening. The Town of Groton reserves the right to waive any formalities or to reject any or all bids. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be directed to the Owner at cdennis@groton-ct.gov / (860) 448 4068. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by the Owner in response to such questions will be posted to the Town's website.
