Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Oakdale, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

For a General Contractor to complete interior renovation projects on unoccupied rental units at Briar Pond in Oakdale and scattered-site single-family homes throughout Washington County. Typical work may include kitchen cabinets, countertops, sinks, appliances, lighting, tub and surround, bathroom vanities and plumbing, paint and flooring, interior doors, trim, and smoke detectors. At scattered site units, work may also include mechanical systems and exterior components such as driveway, sidewalks, windows, siding, and roof. Bidders should present prior experience, capacity to complete renovations within 30 days, and have knowledge to value engineer as needed. The selected contractor(s) will be under contract for one year with a possible extension. Please consider submitting a proposal if your firm meets the qualifications and is interested and available. Proposals will then be evaluated by an evaluation panel made up of representatives of the WCCDA. GCs will not be informed at any time as to the identity of evaluation committee members. If a GC becomes aware of the identity of any evaluation committee member, they shall not attempt to contact or discuss anything regarding this RFP with such members. Failure to abide by this requirement may cause the GC to be eliminated from consideration for the General Contractor Deep Turn Project. Evaluations will be based on the criteria listed below. 1. Proposed Cost: 20 pts This category will score the contractors proposed costs for the project based on the pricing exhibit provided, and the Briar Pond and Scattered Site Materials List. 2. Capacity: 15 pts This category evaluates the contractors ability to complete the project on schedule. It includes the firms approach to staffing, personnel availability, subcontractor mobilization, and the resources committed to ensure timely and efficient execution of the work. 3. Experience: 15 pts This category evaluates the contractor past performance on similar renovation projects, including work completed for government projects and experience on interior renovations for apartments and townhomes.
