SEH Project: OAKDA184385 Major quantities for the work include: 29 each grubbing, 555 linear feet salvage fence, 727 square yards remove concrete driveway pavement, 456 square yards remove bituminous driveway pavement, 33 square yards salvage pavers, 2,100 cubic yards common excavation (EV) (P), 1,028 tons aggregate base class 5, 72 tons type SP 9.5 wearing course mix (2,B) (patching driveways), 16,148 square feet 4" concrete walk, 4,155 square feet 6" concrete walk (pedestrian ramps and through driveways), 78 linear feet V curb and gutter, 558 square yards 6" concrete driveway pavement, 132 square feet truncated domes, 555 linear feet install fence, 207 square feet install timber, rock, and block landscape wall. Bids shall be completed according to the Bidding Documents prepared by SEH. Prospective bidders must be on the plan holders list through QuestCDN for bids to be accepted and bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid. Contractors must submit a signed statement under oath verifying compliance with each of the minimum criteria in Minnesota Statutes, section 16C.285, subdivision 3. Minimum wage rates have been predetermined and are subject to the Work Hours Act of 1962 and implementing regulations. The Minnesota Department of Transportation notifies all bidders that disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded maximum opportunity to participate and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, disability, age, sex or national origin. Equal employment opportunity will be provided to all persons without regard to their race, color, disability, age, religion, sex or national origin. Contractors must possess valid Certificates of Compliance as required by the Minnesota Human Rights Act. Affirmative action requirements must be met. This project has a Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) goal. The City reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive irregularities and informalities, and to award the Contract in the best interests of the City.
