Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Pottsville, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field.
The work consists of a single prime contract generally described as rock scaling and removal. Work includes the scaling of an existing rock wall, removal of the resulting rock debris, provision of a new traffic barrier wall, signage, and restoration of work areas along with miscellaneous other items described within the contract documents, to be complete and ready for use and in compliance with the latest codes and regulations. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the contract name and number clearly written. All bids must be accompanied by a ten percent bid guaranty, which may be a certified check or bid bond. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and a labor and materials payment bond, each for one hundred percent of the contract price. Bidders must comply with PA Prevailing Wage Rate regulations, equal opportunity requirements, and all bids shall be irrevocable for ninety days after opening. The school district reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive technicalities and informalities.
