Site work for a water / sewer project in Greendale, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
Sealed bids are requested for the Nowlin Avenue Water Main Replacement located in Greendale, Dearborn County, Indiana. The base bid includes the installation of a new water main on Nowlin Avenue from the intersection of Cora Avenue to Armitage Drive, consisting of approximately 90 linear feet of 6" PVC water main, 2,676 linear feet of 8" PVC water main, five fire hydrants, one 2" gate valve and box, two 6" gate valves and boxes, eleven 8" gate valves and boxes, and all related appurtenances and work. The city will provide all water main materials including pipe, fittings, valves, boxes, and hydrants. The contractor is responsible for all equipment, labor, and additional materials for installation. An alternate bid covers installation from Haag Avenue to Cora Avenue with specified quantities for each item. Bids must include a 5% bid bond or certified check, and successful bidders must furnish a 100% surety bond. Detailed plans and specifications are available for examination and purchase.
