Reference Number 0000309101 The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of installation of water mains on Goulding Street, Lenore Street, Wolseley Avenue, and Turenne St all within the City of Winnipeg. The major components of the Work are as follows: (a) Installation of approximately 1233m of 150mm, 200mm, and 300mm diameter PVC water main pipe by trenchless methods; (b) Installation of approximately 26m of 450mm steel casing pipe; (c) Abandonment of existing water mains as required; (d) Removal/abandonment of existing hydrant assemblies and gate valves as required; (e) Abandonment of existing valve pits as required; (f) Installation of valves and hydrant assemblies; (g) Reconnection or renewal of water service connections; and (h) Restoration of pavement and boulevard areas. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform. Question Deadline 12/30/2025 All enquiries shall be directed to the Contract Administrator. If the Bidder finds errors, discrepancies or omissions in the Tender, or is unsure of the meaning or intent of any provision therein, the Bidder shall notify the Contract Administrator of the error, discrepancy or omission, or request a clarification as to the meaning or intent of the provision at least five (5) Business Days prior to the Submission Deadline.
