Sealed proposals are requested for the furnishing of all materials and the performance of all labor according to the drawings and specifications for a roofing project at Lincoln School located at 635 Lincoln Ave., Evansville, Indiana. The project consists of the removal of the existing roofing system including all flashings, insulation, felts, and other items down to the existing roof deck followed by the installation of a new roof including new insulation, tapered insulation (where indicated), single-ply PVC membrane, roof accessories, flashings, edge metals, and all other required appurtenances. 1.2. Project location: Lincoln School 635 Lincoln Ave Evansville, IN 47713 It is mandatory for each prime contract bidder to obtain one complete set of bidding documents. Proposals must be made out and submitted on a bid proposal form attached to a current General Form No. 96. Any bid over $5,000.00 must include a Contractor's Financial Statement. Proposals shall be firm with no escalator clauses and must be accompanied by a certified check or acceptable bidder's surety bond made payable to the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid. Successful bidders must execute a contract within ten days of acceptance and furnish acceptable surety bonds. All local licensing requirements must be met prior to submitting a bid. A drug policy must be included with the proposal. Compliance with MBE/WBE utilization and E-Verification policy and procedures as outlined in the specifications is required. No bidder may withdraw a bid for a period of ninety days after the opening of bids. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any defects or informalities in the best interest of the Board.
